D8 ACCESSORIES · ZW005
The D8 Mini Connector system combines compact two-pole plugs, sockets, extension leads and splitters for furniture lighting connections. The supplied datasheet lists a 250V AC, 2.5A rating for the individual connector parts and supports custom cable lengths.
The connector is described in the datasheet as passing through an Ø8 mm hole. Verify the selected lead, bend radius and mounting clearance before assembly.
Select a male plug, female socket, extension lead or splitter to match the cabinet lighting layout and the direction of the feed.
Different D8 parts have different current limits. Check the complete circuit against its lowest-rated connector, lead and protected load.
Specify the wiring path and lead length when requesting a quotation; custom lengths are stated as available in the datasheet.

Datasheet ratings are component-specific. The 10A D8W-V6 rating does not increase the capacity of a connected 2.5A plug or extension lead. Confirm the configuration and all mating parts before installation.
The supplied ZW005 datasheet lists Class II, CE, VDE and RoHS. Request current documentation for the selected component and target market; check the installation drawing and protective arrangement for the actual circuit.
Plan compact power and distribution connections within a cabinet or furniture lighting installation. The supplied datasheet diagram depicts an AC lighting path and a separate path through a transformer to LED lights. Confirm the voltage at every connection point; the nominal 250V AC rating of this connector system does not make an LED load suitable for direct mains connection.
Choose the D8W-M male plug and D8W-F female socket for the mating connection, D8W-E for a longer run, or D8W-Y and D8W-V6 where branches are needed. Check total current and every branch current alongside the rating of the mated plug, cable and splitter.
For a project quote, provide the desired connector variant, cable length, load, circuit voltage and installation location. The datasheet can then be checked against the proposed layout.

Review the rated values, cable specification, component variants and illustrated applications in the datasheet. For a detailed component drawing or current declaration, include the selected part number in your enquiry.
The ZW005 datasheet lists the D8W-M male plug, D8W-F female socket, D8W-E extension lead, D8W-Y two-way splitter and D8W-V6 six-way splitter.
No. The D8W-V6 splitter is listed at 10A total and 5A per connector. D8W-M, D8W-F, D8W-E and D8W-Y are listed at 2.5A maximum each. Follow the lowest-rated part in the circuit.
The datasheet says cable lengths can be customized. State the chosen component, required length, wiring details and order quantity when requesting a quote.
The supplied application drawing shows a transformer and LED lights, but the appropriate connector, voltage and protective arrangement must be confirmed for the selected circuit. Do not connect an LED load directly to 250V AC unless it is designed for that supply.
The supplied datasheet lists CE, VDE, RoHS and Safety Class II. Ask for current documents that cover the exact part and intended market.
